Yes Phoenix and I went down and had loads of fun. It was hot! I didn't realize just how overheated I was getting until we went back to the Jeep to tear down and go home. My vision got a little wonky there for a bit. I was fighting issues with the mag-fed guns. One is still breaking in and one just hasn't been used much in the last 5 years. Switched over to the Axe at the end of the day and we finished it out. We left a little early. Both of us had things we needed to do back in town. There was a good crowd. I have heard that our side collapsed their home bases twice. I do like that field!

The videos coming out of their Facebook are concerning to say the least. The latest show, what looks like, 3-4 guys shooting their rental Enemy's at targets behind a barn with masks up on their heads not on. It feels like someone who went and rented and played a couple of times, had the funding to start a field on their own, and just threw something together. I saw enough safety violations in just the one video to scare me. This is the type of stuff that gets the sport a bad name. Someone is gonna let their kid go there and the kid is gonna get hurt. I have seen zero videos of their facilities. Zero videos of the owner promoting a quality field. All we have seen are videos of guys outlawing with entry level marker's and rental masks. We all know someone actually serious about this sport isn't going to be wearing a rental mask. We know how uncomfortable they are. This has accident that gets on the news written all over it!

I almost want to reach out to the guy and just ask what his background in the sport is and how safe the field is. Some of the BOB's are going Saturday.

Can we take him food?

He may even be back to work now. I haven't talked to him since he got home from the hospital.

Is it pretty bad Trek? What hospital is he at?

Here is what he posted on Facebook. The scary part is I don't think they can get a handle on what is causing it. He has been fighting this for the last couple of years. No one can give him an answer for the cause. He meets with a neurologist tomorrow. I think he is at Methodist.

Well.. today went to stuff. Had the worst episode to date today. Had 2 episode back to back to now im in the hospital over night. :(
Had the first one at the shop and got rushed to the doctor to get looked at and when i got there all hell broke loose in the lobby. Passed out and lost all feeling in my legs and arms then  blacked out. Got rushed to the e.r. in an ambulance and got a head scan, iv, blood tests, ekg, now im on a monitoring system. Being transferred to the main hospital 84th now. Unfortunately by another ambulance. I'll be there till tomorrow with neurologist. Im just letting everyone know. I have regained all my feelingsin my legs and arms. I'll do my best to respond to posts but I'm really sore and im going to be doing tests all night so no need to show up. Love you guys. Jenny Olson PedersenJenny Im so sorry about what i put you through today but i want you to know that i love you and thank you so much for helping me today. I owe you the biggest hug a person can give someone.

Most of you know Joe, some newer guys don't, he is who first brought me to the team. When I was given 2 A-5's for payment on a debt, I gave one to Joe and we played some outlaw ball. He ran into Bill at Scheels, and Bill invited us to come play with the team. I have been home ever since. Well he is in the hospital. His health has been a bit of a roller coaster. He took a pretty rough turn today. Was rushed to the hospital. Blacked out in the ER. Lost all feeling in his arms and legs. He is stable now but still in the hospital. If you have his number I know he would like to hear from you. Maybe after he is home. He can definitely use your thoughts and prayers. I will keep you posted.

Do they allow FSR?

They did not last year so I will hazard to say no.

I do like their field a lot. I'm not optimistic I could make this, but there is an outside chance. I'd be last minute addition if so.

Awwwww yeah!!

I have a couple of Newbies that may want to go. I may need to borrow a marker and hopper from someone for them to use. One of them will use my Axe but I will still need one more. I will run mag-fed all day.

Kraus from the BOB's hit me up asking if we were gonna be coming down to Vietnam. I honestly forgot about it. But I think I can make it work. It is a Saturday. Kraus did make the comment that it would be good to have us out for at least one local game.

Anybody wanna roll with?

Area Games / Blastcamps The Purge October 28th
« on: August 01, 2018, 10:57:36 AM »
I was chatting with a couple of T-15 operators on Facebook about local scenarios in the Midwest. I told them we were interested in a scenario in October. They said they were going to Blastcamp for the Purge. It is October 28th and it is a bring your own paint scenario.
For those that don't know Blastcamp is the decommisioned Nike missile base.....
