Thanks for coming out fellas. I appreciate the support. We raised $3,000 in profit for the teens over the course of the night, and we also had our highest guest count ever (that I am aware of---211). Thanks for adding to it. Hope you guys had a good time.

Food was killer Hoot! Thank you for putting on another fantastic event!

So far I have Wes riding with me. I may have Jeff Degan riding with me too. He is/was one of the B.O.B.s

What's his call sign? Trying to picture him. How did you guys hook up?

He was originally with the Joe's. Not sure on his call sign. He was a client for a bit and we kept looking at each other like, "how do I know this cat?" Then finally I had one of my team shirts on and we put 2 and 2 together. He also works at Z-92 and got me free passes to see Bret Michaels, Warrant, and Firehouse last year.

Camping prices have been put up. We will have to contact Legacy if we are doing a big tent.

Hey congratulations buddy! I am stoked for you.

There is already some great advice flowing for you. I don't know if I have much frame of reference as a parent, not having done so in my life. However, as far as the significant other is concerned, a lot of times men are looking to fix the problem. It is a natural instinct. See something broken and you just fix it. Women on the other hand don't always want you to fix it. They want you to be there, listen to what they are saying, and empathize. I think that is part of why some women get mad when they tell you about some situation, and you tell them how to fix it. They may already know how to fix it. Let's face it, most of us seek out strong, intelligent women. They know how to fix the problem, they just want their guy to understand and relate to how they felt.

In your case, both of you knew you couldn't fix it. She didn't expect you to, and you cannot be so hard on yourself for not being able to. You are also very justified in how it made your feel. Everyone is different in how adversity affects them. But, that is why some people are wonderful healers and others are not.

Now how I would handle the situation going forth is to talk to her about it. Tell her how you felt. Tell her how you felt when you realized you were sub-consciously pulling away and why. Communication is key in every relationship. I think she will understand and will help you keep from doing it again in the future. Heck you may find that she appreciated the extra space. Most people know that they are not always the most pleasant people when they are sick or in pain. I know when I am sick, as much as I love having someone take care of me, at some point I just want to be left alone.

Food for thought.

Most of Umarex's stuff are meant for LEO training. Thus the lack of a velocity adjustment. However, it has been said that after a magazine or 2 are run through them the velocity drops down under 280 fps. They never address if it stays down there or if it ramps back up. I want to get one and do testing of my own.

If any team can be a floater and be sent where needed, it's us.

Heh heh.

To quote our Legion commander Kemper "Fisher wants the Praetorian Legion will be the bully squad." Fisher knows what we bring to the table and it sounds like Kemper's team is similar. They have already planned to commit to Supergame too. So we may get to run with them at Sherwood in 2020 too.

Anyone see a rulebook or plot setup? Do they still do the background story now that viper isn't involved?
It is still the same background it was for LL7. Same Legions so same plot. I have not looked for a rule book yet. I suspect it would be found on

Made contact with the Praetorian Legion Commander, Craig Kemper, and he is pretty stoked. It sounds like he has a couple of speedball teams and another team like us that he is working with. Then spent some time talking with Fisher about the field. I don't envy them having to try to plan for a field that most people know nothing about. He said they were hoping to have around 200 per legion, but some will over recruit and some not recruit well at all. I mentioned it might be a good idea to have a couple of teams be like a floating outfit. Go where the fight is needed.

I'm working on getting us as involved as we can.

All right, it seems guys are good with LL in 2019 and Sherwood/Supergame in 2020. Lets make it official and declare our intentions.

Muddy is going to LL in 2019.

Sherwood in 2020.

Set your calendars and plan to be there. I'll get the dedicated LL thread rolling. Trek is a happy man! Gets to return to Legends and has his boys rollin' with him.

As far as Scenario leadership, I would be interested in getting back into that aspect of the game, depending on what the roles were. I think we have a few guys that could be an asset to events in leadership roles if the need was there.

That just turned my crappy Monday into a good day! I am stoked! There are a bunch of people that wanted us there!

I am excited! I made contact with Michael Fisher from the Raw Dawgs. He is XO for the blue side. Michael and his team ran with us as Barbarians in LL7. He was my go to when MWB wasn't close at hand and he is pumped to have us! So when you register, do so as blue and under the Praetorian Legion. He didn't hesitate and knew right where he wanted us.

I will ask Honu tonight about camping but that may be more something that I will have to reach out to someone from Legacy on.
