sloping/slope soaring, slope gliding is close enough to know what you mean.

and skip the saturday flight, the wind was showing ~10mph, now it's showing max 5 today which is a little low for my planes.

I wanted this done months ago but after dealing with mis colored cables and a fried transmitter because of it and uselessly low view angle cameras, I FINALLY have something that works.
I unfortunately have no way to record the video from it unless I stick the gopro/mobius inside the fpv goggles.

FPV backpack on the right is just a camera, transmitter, antenna and a small battery, weighing in at 12g.

I'll get a better pic tomorrow of it setup fully and mounted.

Pulled apart the old video transmitter.
I'm pretty sure that chip on the bottom left is supposed to be flat.

all setup with the new transmitter, ready to be stuck to something.

here is is mounted and ready to fly.
battery looks kind of stupid just stuck there, but it works.

Caught the bug again, dusted off the equipment, and got some flight footage.
My new quad can't carry a recording camera so this is FPV downlink. The quality is what I see when I fly.
