Sounds dumb, but is HDMI secure? Wasn't it loose last time?

Is it computer monitor or TV?

You don't know how to check if the HDMI cable is securely plugged into PC and then monitor?

HDMI cable needs to be plugged into your graphics card HDMI port on back of PC.

It is in both inputs. I've tried multiple chords as well. I thought you were talking about the graphics card directly

Ah. Does your mother board have a hdmi port you could plug into instead of graphics card?

Check all cable connects first.
Check power to monitor.
Check monitor signal input settings. Some monitors you choose between VGA or HDMI if Auto detect is disabled.

If those are fine. Swap with a different monitor that you know is working. If the alternate monitor works fine. The other one is bad.

Done all that with the tv as well as the monitor. Monitor is brand new as well.

I'm starting to think your Video Card is the problem.

If you have s video card, it may not be installed.
Try the one that is on the same axis on the back of your computer as the usb's and what not. Post a picture of the back of your computer.
